I freaked out when I read an article about a knife block. Well I like this way more than my knife block and not just for the clean issue. It takes up less space looks nice. I recommend it for those thinking about getting rid of the wood block.

Amazon Customer: Works real good

Got this to replace my old wooden knife holder. So far, I like this one significantly better as its easy to put knives away and lets me grab the correct one quickly instead of pulling out a bread knife on accident. Visually better, in my opinion, as well.

Fits all my knives (of different shapes and sizes) nicely, easy to clean, and stable so it doesn't fall over.

Clark: Holds knives...

I thought this would be cheaply made, but it is very sturdy. Easy to clean, does not dull the knives, and you can tell which blade type you are pulling from the holder. Very happy with this one.

Bonnie M: Love this holder

I love being able to see which knife I am pulling out & that I put any knife anywhere in it. I have 8 knives in mine. It holds any size, I have my cheese slicer, dicer, butcher knife plus in it. It does hold the knives tight & is lightweight so I do have the hold it with one hand and pull the knife with the other or I pickup the whole thing if I try one handed. But should it fall over (mine hasn't) they will not fall out.
